What we collect

When you use Query Letter Plus, we collect your name, email address, book title, book type, and the manuscript file you upload. We also collect optional bio details you choose to provide. We use this information solely to generate your query letter package and deliver it to you.

How your manuscript is used

Your manuscript is uploaded securely and processed using the Claude API by Anthropic to analyze your book and generate your query letters and synopses. Your manuscript is never used to train any AI model — by Anthropic, The Write Practice, or any other party. Anthropic's API terms explicitly prohibit using API inputs for model training.

We store your manuscript file temporarily to deliver your results. Files are automatically deleted within 30 days of submission. In practice, files are deleted immediately after processing is complete.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is only used within the third-party services required to operate this product:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — AI processing of your manuscript
• Typeform — form submission and payment processing
• SendGrid — email delivery of your results
• ActiveCampaign — email communications from The Write Practice
• Circle — community access for workshop members
• Cloudflare — secure file storage and infrastructure

Your rights

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing admin@thewritepractice.com. Manuscript files are deleted automatically within 30 days regardless.
